Welcome to the Onyx Divers Divemaster program in Koh Tao - a hands-on training track for divers who are ready to stop being guests underwater and start becoming professionals. This is where you learn to lead, guide, and work as part of a real dive team.
Koh Tao is one of the world's most established Divemaster training hubs - dozens of dive sites within a short boat ride, boats running daily, and near year-round conditions to build real, varied experience. At Onyx Divers, that experience comes with personal, hands-on mentorship from senior instructors - not a factory-style course where you're just another number moving through a checklist. The program runs between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on your personal pace.
By the end of the program, you'll hold an internationally recognized SSI Divemaster certification and the practical skills to back it up - dive planning, guest supervision, dive briefings, and real assisting experience. For many divers, it's also the natural stepping stone toward the Instructor Training Course (ITC), if teaching is the next goal. Please note that this course is intended for candidates aged 18 and older.
